Which Kemetic Crown Do You Wear? (What Spiritual Path Are You On?)

You know, ever since the 1999 blockbuster film The Matrix came out, there has been more references to this movie then a little bit, and for good reason. The Matrix was heavily coated with all sorts of metaphors and symbolism, which is the reason so many people loved it but something else happened after that film was made. As we moved deeper into this Age of Information, there has been an overload of information. People suddenly began to realize that we were all living in a matrix (system of control), which has prompted discussions on what to do about it and how to get out of the matrix.

There are all these theories of how to get out of the matrix but the message gets muddled because there is too much information. There are a lot of people out there spreading “good news” but some of this information is not meant for all of us. That’s right. Information is great but a lot of times too much information causes problems as well because it stimulates the ego-self (sahu part of our being)-particularly the intellect. I remember that when I first started this walk (in this lifetime), I used to feel so overwhelmed until I discovered from a shamanic perspective how to chart my spiritual path.

After I charted my spiritual path, that is when I realized that it is not meant for everyone to get out of the matrix like the Kemetic ruler King Mentuhetep II (shown on the left). Some of us came here to fight. Some of us came here to build. Some of us come here to learn.  Some of us have come here to become living gods and goddesses.  While some of us came here to be sheep, which is the reason I stop wasting time and energy trying to convince people that don’t want to know and protesting a long time ago.  To understand this, you must understand your purpose of being here or said another way, “Why did you choose to incarnate to this plane?”  Remember, we are not physical beings that were created out of happenstance.  We were not created by accident or through some random and coincidental events.  We must remember that we are spiritual beings (BA-Superconscious) with a soul (Ab/conscious), having a physical experience (sahu subconscious).

Thanks to our Kemetic ancestors, we know that according to the Kemetic creation theory that in the beginning there was Nyun (nothing or no-things) although Amun Ra was always present.  Then, the Divine said (paraphrasing) “I called myself into being. Finding no place to stand, I brought Maa out of the Nyun.” Thence, according to our Bantu-Kongo ancestors, the Divine as Amun Ra (Musoni) made Ra (Tukula), Khepera (Kala) and Ra Atum (Luvemba).  This means You – Family – are the Divine Conscious that brought yourself into being.  Each and every one of us chose to be here and we brought ourselves into being through our Father’s Will/Ra and Mother’s Nyun womb.

Therefore, these three parts of our being (BA, Ab and sahu), which are symbolized on the Maa Aankh, means we are a microcosm within a Macrocosm, a maa aankh within a greater Maa Aankh or simply put a god and goddess.  We all chose to come to this physical plane of existence for a reason. Most of us came here to prove our divinity. Some of us chose to come here so that we can be like the hero Neo in The Matrix and use our divine powers to manipulate this matrix we are in. While others of us are just here for the ride.

Why are we here and how do we interact with the matrix is based upon the spiritual path we have chosen prior to coming to this plane.  The spiritual path we have chosen can be identified by the Kemetic crowns which also corresponds to part of our spirit/self that we are polarized with the most.

The Crowns of Kemet does not simply signify the region but also indicates the part of the Spirit that the wearer is polarized. This is the inspiration behind Catholic popes choosing a name.

The White Hedjet crown is polarized with the BA/Higher Self/KAMTA. The Red Deshret crown is polarized with the sahu/lower self/TASETT, and the White and Red Pschent Crown is balanced. What are the spiritual paths?

TASETT – the Lower Kemet/lower self/subconscious – sahu part of our being. TASETT also represents the SAHU, KHAB, KHABIT & KA Divisions of the Spirit

Well, if it sounds horribly strange that we are gods and goddesses or just downright blasphemous.  You may on the Red Deshret path, which means that you are not getting out of the matrix because you are dependent on it. You believe that the way to change what is wrong with the system is by protesting and/or revolting so that you can replace the current system with another system. For instance, you may detest capitalism and democracy but you favor socialism and communism. You are here to understand that you cannot depend upon anything externally.

KAMTA – the Upper Kemet/ Higher (Upper) Self/ Superconscious – BA part of our being.  KAMTA also represents the BA, KHU, SHEKHEM & REN Divisions of the Spirit.

If this sounds a little farfetched but makes sense. You are probably on the White Hedjet path and you are most likely here to use your divine powers to create change. You have most likely participated in several protests and saw no real change, which has led you to see that the only way to create change is by having your own power. Those of you on the white Hedjet path come here to use your powers to improve the wellbeing of your family, community and race.  You may have a strong connection to your ancestors. and a keen understanding of history.  You have learned not to depend upon anything externally and are experimenting with the whole process of going within.

If this sounds perfectly correct. You are on the White and Red Pschent path and most likely here to get out of the matrix. You have seen it all and done it all in past lives, and now you see that everything has its pros and cons. You don’t care either way if you are in a capitalist society or a communist society because your objective is to use your powers to manipulate the matrix. You are on the path to become a netcharu (netjeru, force of nature, guardian spirit, etc.) who does not need to reincarnate back into this physical plane. Your sole purpose is to master both planes of existence as the hero Hru had accomplished, hence the significance of the white and red Pschent crown.

Please note that this is not by any means meant to determine an individuals’ spiritual maturity per se.  It is meant to help you to understand the spiritual path that you have chosen so that you can better focus and understand the messages, omens, synchronistic events, etc. coming to you and how to best use the information you are receiving.

Akhenaten Is Not a Kemetic Hero

13 07 2018

Hetepu (Peace & Blessings) Family.

This Setian society is so interestingly flawed that it is ridiculous. What do I mean? Well, if you look at any documentary about the Kemetic civilization, it will always be the same. First, they talk about the pyramids, then they talk about how the Kemetic people were fascinated with death and then, they come with the same old thing about them worshipping false gods and goddesses, until Akhenaten (former Amenhetep IV 1348/1346 BC), the so-called father of monotheism, steps on the scene and introduces Atenism.

Akhenaten and Family worshipping Aten

Now, for the longest time, I have tried my best to understand what was the big deal about Akhenaten? In fact, when I was younger, after learning that the 42 Declarations of Maa were the model for the Ten Commandments, I tried to become a follower of Atenism. The big draw was that it was theorized by a lot of western scholars that Akhenaten and Moses was the same person, so I felt like I was really returning to Christianity before it became corrupted by the Council of Nicea.

But after a little more investigation, I learned that Atenism focused only the salvation of Akhenaten and his royal family.  In fact, so-called idols were banned in the Kemetic homes during Akhenaten’s reign, but the people could have representations of Akhenaten’s family worshipping Aten.  Another unmentioned fact is that while Akhenaten was busy obsessing and promoting his religion, his enemies were gathering on the Kemetic horizon to invade.  There were other forms of neglect that were occurring during Akhenaten’s reign, which is the reason his religion declined and the Kemetic empire almost fell. It should be noted that it is never mentioned that Akhenaten’s wife Nefertiti was an Assyrian princess, who made have inspired this decline.

But, if you listen to archeologists, historians and even filmmakers, they will try to convince you that the Kemetic people were so stuck in their “pagan ways” that this was the reason they never fully converted to Atenism.

So, prior to Akhenaten being born, the Kemetic people were stuck in their “pagan ways” and they built the Pyramid of Djoser (2630 BC-2611 BC) and numerous other pyramids, the Kemetic medical papyrus were written 3000 BC-2500 BC, not mention chemistry and all of the other sciences.  Yet, scholars parade over the fact that this one individual promoted an idea of worshipping the Aten, the sun, which almost led to the Kemetic empire being destroyed.

Then, it hit me.

The reason western scholars are so giddy about Akhenaten is because this was the first individual recorded in history to promote the idea of worshipping a deity outside of our being. Notice that I did not say, the first person to create monotheism because the Kemetic religion was always monotheistic. Amun Ra which means the “Hidden Ra” as I mentioned before refers to the Hidden Force of God within our Being. In fact, in ancient times, most of the people around the globe worshipped God within. This all changed after Atenism came into the picture because immediately afterwards the western world religions were created and everyone in the world was seduced into worshipping a cosmic deity outside of the Self.

In other words, Akhenaten’s Aten religion became the model that was used to weaponize religion. This is the reason as soon as Constantine came to power after suppressing all other Christian factions (and other religions by claiming they were evil or against God), they built churches on top of most of sacred spots.  Islam took simply destroyed most of these sacred spots. All three religions (Judaism, Christianity and Islam) promoted their “peaceful” religions with a holy book in one hand and a sword in the other.

Remember, usually when they tell us something is good in this western society, it is usually bad and vice versa. The world at large is going to hell because of this horrific paradigm shift to worship a deity outside of our being. The only way to escape it, is to follow our Kemetic ancestors’ lead. When the Kemetic people realized that Akhenaten had been overthrown by his Set (the ego self). They erased all memory of him and restored the Amun Ra religion through his son Tutankmen. In other words, the only way to escape this foolishness is by returning to worshipping the Power of God within our being.

The Return to Amun Ra Spiritual Tradition (How to Come into Your Own)

7 07 2018

Hetepu (Peace & Blessings) Family

I do not have to tell you how bad things are because if you look at the news or follow any social media outlet. You know. We are all being bombarded with images of how bad the president of the country is, how gang violence is on the rise, racial discrimination and race related offenses have increased, not to mention the various sexual perversions that are being publicized.  If you did not know any better, you would think that the world has literally gone to hell and the only escape is to sit around theorizing on the ending of the next Avengers movie or who and what is going to be in the next Star Wars.

All of these events were predicted to occur because according to the Maa Aankh, which is based upon the four moments of the Sun: KhepeRa (Sunrise/Birth), Ra (Midday/Life), Ra Atum (Sunset/Death) and Amun Ra (Midnight/Rebirth).  We have all been living at the Ra moment, which is the hottest time of the day, year, season, etc. before the fall.  So naturally the breakdown in society is normal, which is why we all sense the decay and the descent to Ra Atum (Death).  But we are being discouraged from returning to Amun Ra, so that we can all be rejuvenated and revived.

Maa Aankh with Utchat

We are being encouraged to stay in this religious mental state of fear for monetary reasons, so that we can be someone else’s slave.  Yes, Family. The new world order is here and the reason our senses are being assaulted with all of this negative imagery is because they want us to eventually cry out and plead for more government control. If we cry out about all of the violence occurring in the streets then they will have grounds to remove the police and declare martial law. Everything has been designed so that whatever we complain about will make us seek help outside of ourselves instead of going within. In fact, it is getting harder and harder to remind yourself to go within, which is the reason we really need to understand that true spirituality learning to trust your BA (the Higher part of your being).

The character Creek from the film Trolls was a serene, Zen-like state of mind, troll when under pressure was a selfish and treacherous coward. Courtesy of http://trolls.wikia.com/wiki/Creek

There are also these self-proclaimed gurus that have appeared who are also trying to get us to stay in this mental state as well. Most of these “gurus” claim to be masters on building ancestral altars, working with the spirits and building all sorts of altars, etc. It is interesting (sarcastic) that all of these people knew about ancestor veneration but a few decades ago when our folks were being persecuted they were no where to be found.

Anyway, in order to keep from getting caught up in this crap.  You have to understand that true spirituality is about working your own mind.  If these gurus are not telling you this, then they are setting you up to be someone else’s slave.

So how do you come into your own? Let’s go back to the basics.

What are the Basics?

The basics of the Amun Ra tradition is that the ancestors are within you because their consciousness, etc. is in your DNA. The gods and goddesses are within you because you were made in the image of the Divine.  You have to remind your self that everything that exists in the universe exists within you and vice versa. It is not outside of you.  If you are having problems working with your ancestors and other spirits it is possibly because are you are praying and worshipping your ancestors and the gods/goddesses, which is like praying and worshipping yourself. It doesn’t make sense but this is how we have been programmed to think.

When you return to basics, which is that you are made in the image of the Divine. This means that you were not created to worship anyone or anything. You came here to do a job, so the spirits who accompany you in this lifetime are here to help you, not receive your prayers and offerings. Stop thinking you are offending God or these gods and goddesses. Oshun is not offended and is cursing your love life.  This is western religious thinking that put us in the mindset that the gods and goddesses reward and punish us. In fact, the whole idea of having a divinity on an altar where you must look up at them is western religious thinking. I used to have altars like this too until my Cuban godfather corrected me and told me “We don’t worship them.”  All of my altars are either at eye level or below to remind me that they are guardian spirits and spirit guides who work with me and not me worshipping them.

On Offerings

The psychology behind making offerings to any spirits I have found was because when Oset (Aset, Isis) tricked Ra into revealing Amun Ra (his Hidden Name or the Hidden Ra) in the Story of Ra and Oset.  To appreciate and not misuse what we receive, an exchange must occur and this is Maa.

On Doing Magick

We are Ab/conscious souls but when we come into this earthly plane, we are given a BA (Higher Spirit/Superconscious or Divine Spark) and a subconscious/ physical body consciousness, lower spirit or sahu to physically survive. We are all brilliant due to our habitual sahu conditioning based upon the parents, family, community, church, etc. we were born to, our consciousness is suppressed.

Consequently, most of the people in the world are dominated by their sahu, thus making them emotional, egotistical, reactive beings that are manipulated through their fears, likes and dislikes. We the conscious understanding that the fears, inhibitions, etc. is what prevents us from growing are actively engaging in a mental battle with our lower spirit, to seize control over our life. Because the sahu cannot distinguish between what is real or imaginary; and the sahu does not respond very well to verbal commands to cease certain actions and behaviors, but the sahu does respond to symbols impressed upon it in the present. Magick, the art and science of causing something to appear or disappear, is employed by impressing symbolic ideas upon our sahu. Once the idea is impressed, then the sahu passes the idea to the infinite BA, which does the magick.

For instance, the magick of storytelling occurs when a story is read or viewed repetitively. After the story has been committed to memory, if the story is rich in symbolism then the BA will give the reader/viewer flashes of insight.

Homeopathic (or imitative) magick is the idea that similar actions produce similar results.  In other words, the person acts out what they want. Therefore, to rid yourself of a problem, person, etc. take a small pebble and name it after a particular person, problem, etc. and then toss it over your shoulder into a river – symbolizing ridding yourself of the problem.

Contagious magick is based upon the belief that things in contact with each other will remain linked and can influence one another. An example of contagious magick is a mother taking a lock of hair from her child’s head and placing it in between two seashells, then praying for the child’s protection.

All of these techniques and practices were created to remind us to go back within, hence Amun Ra (the Hidden Ra within).

Magick is all around us and it has been around for about 50,000 years or more.  It is our God given talent that we are supposed to use as Divine beings.  This is the reason people turned to it during ancient times.  Our Kemetic ancestors understood that our sahu (physical consciousness) was limited and that the only way to access the BA/Higher Spirit was by temporary tricking their sahu/lower spirit.  When you temporarily silence the sahu and allow the BA to come to the forefront, this is when you tap into the unlimited power of your being. Your BA is responsible for natural synchronicities, insights, assistance from total strangers and all sorts of unexplainable phenomenons. It is mysterious and magickal because it is ethereal in nature, which means you are not supposed to logically understand it. If you can logically understand a thing you can control it and this is the trick to working with your BA and performing magick.

The weirder, stranger and “odder” the magick is, the more powerful it will be for you because it is out of the norm of your sahu, which is based upon habits.

When Magick Does Not Work

When magick does not work, it is not because magick doesn’t work at all. It is because either one does not believe in magick and/or they are not focusing on the proper reward, which is the reason magick is not strictly defined as an art or science, hence results vary.  Remember, our sahu does not like change so a large part of magick focuses on convincing it of what we want. If the sahu is not thoroughly convinced then it wonders when the magick is going to work or obsess over the success of the magick, which is called in the occult “lust for results”. Magick is all about moving from belief to knowing.  This is part of the reason we have incarnated to this plane because many of us believe in God but do not know that we are God, but that’s another post.  Magick is about changing our beliefs into knowing. For instance, athletes use magick (aka positive visualization) all the time whenever they imagine crossing the finish line first (the reward) and repetitively repeat this image in their mind (repetition builds belief). The athletes who win we can say had a strong knowing.

So, understand that we are all unique and we all have different backgrounds, beliefs, etc, which means that one magickal technique is not going to work for us all.  Most of us left organized religion because just praying to Jesus, Jehovah or Allah does not work for everyone.  Therefore, creating sigils might work for one person but not for another, so they may have better luck with chanting mantras instead, while another may have better success with working with the ancestors and other spirits of the dead. While another may prefer to work solely with saints, gods and goddesses from other traditions, and another can only work with affirmations.

This is the reason you have to understand truly what spirituality is.  Once you understand what spirituality is really about, then you can find the magick that works for you and keeps you connected to the Divine. The magick that works for you becomes your maa.  It does not matter if someone else believes in it or not. All that matters is that it works for you. It is all about convincing you. If you are convinced that you are powerful, all you need to do is attract the experience to verify it.

The Difference between Kamitic Spirituality and Western Religious Beliefs

29 07 2015

Hetepu (Peace & Blessings Family)

You know archaeologists, religious zealots and the lot would like people to believe that indigenous people all over the world just worship rocks, cows, trees, their ancestors, deities, etc. They would have you to believe that those of us in spiritual traditions are primitive and idol worshiping people.  And, that our entire spiritual way of life is illogical and based solely upon our feelings. That the Kamitic people just lucked upon the creation of the pyramids, medicine, mathematics, chemistry, philosophy, etc. That it was a fluke and that’s why the Kamitic civilization existed for thousands of years in peace.  In other words, they want people to believe that those of us in spiritual traditions are crazy.

Yet, nowhere in the history of the world is there a record of people who followed a traditional spiritual way of life raping, pillaging and warring with another, due to a difference in religious and spiritual beliefs. In fact, there is not even a record of this occurrence occurring in the Western world. Meaning you never heard of any ancient Greek, Roman or Norseman saying “I am going to kill you in the name of Zeus (Mars, Odin, etc.)!”

Zeus on Mt. Olympus molding the lives of men

Zeus on Mt. Olympus molding the lives of men

This never occurred until the three major Western religions came into existence. This is the first time that you hear or read of someone saying that they are going to kill another individual in the name of God (as if God can’t defend him/herself). In other words, it is the first time you hear of extreme religious fundamentalism.  In which you have a group of people saying “my god is stronger than your god!”

In other words, what they are saying is that “my beliefs are more important than your beliefs”, “my ideas are more important than your ideas”, “my way of life is more important than your way of life”, “my culture is more important than your culture”, “my people are more important than your people,” which means I need to annihilate you unless you convert to my way of life, my culture, my ideas, my beliefs”.

Arabslavers

That’s really what these religious zealots, fundamentalists and extremists are all saying and this is the premises of Western religious conquest.  It is the reason most of our ancestors all over the globe converted to Judaism, Christianity or Islam.  They didn’t convert to these faiths out of love. They converted to these faiths out of fear. The fear for their life, the fear for the safety of their love ones, the fear for their future, and the same fear that forced them to convert to these faiths, Is the same fear controlling these faiths now.

This is the reason it is heresy to ask questions about Jehovah, Yahweh, God or Allah.  It is the reason why one is labeled a heretic for asking or saying anything about the prophets or any discrepancy one finds in the religion.  This is mainly because most religious leaders in these religions don’t know the answers to these questions themselves because it is based upon beliefs, not actual practical experience.  It should now make sense why when you ask any religious zealot, any religious fundamentalist and extremist a practical question, they have to refer to their religious books.  They can never give you a straight, practical and wise answer because they don’t know. They never had the experience and don’t know how to access the wisdom to get it. You see they talk a good game about God being omnipotent, omnipresent and all-knowing but here is the proof that they don’t know God.

I mean think about it. If God is all – knowing and omnipotent, why do you have to defend God if someone says something that they don’t like? If God is so, all knowing, why can’t get their god to fix their community or country?  Why can’t their god stop them from fighting one another? Why can’t their god make them agree on one thing and unite all of their denominations? Why can’t their god solve their problems before trying to solve someone else’s? Not only that, why is their god so sensitive and easily offended? If their god is all knowing, why can’t their god let them ask questions or give them the answer before they ask? Why does their god become angry and have to threaten to kill them like an abusive parent to get them to praise him? It is because these people don’t know really know God for themselves and don’t understand that they are living in spiritual tyranny.

This is why they always have to refer to their books.  Now, if you went to a doctor and every time you asked a question, he or she had to look up in a medical book to give a diagnosis. Would you believe that they know what they are doing? Same holds true for these religions of the book because they were conceived out of fear. That is the fear of what might happen. The fear of the future. The fear of whatever…

fear

The Kamitic spiritual tradition (and all other indigenous spiritual traditions) was conceived out of love. That is the love of God, the love of one another, the love of family, the love of community, the love of nature, and so on. Our rituals are not done to appease an angry god. In other words, if we don’t do something it is not like God is going to strike us down or curse us. We don’t pray and do rituals to benefit God because the Divine is, that’s right – omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. What then would be the purpose of praising God? So the purpose of praying and doing rituals is to benefit ourselves, our loved ones, our community, etc.  We don’t worship our ancestors. The purpose of working with our ancestors is so that we don’t lose our selves. All of our rituals are based upon the some aspect of the energy of universal love and for the record, romantic love is just a fragment of this universal energy.

You see there are only two main energies in our universe and they are universal love and fear. The Kamitic sages were masters of symbols, which is why they symbolized fear as Set.  They understood that fear is based upon ignorance and therefore limited understanding of life. When you act out of fear, you act out of ignorance. You don’t know what you are doing because you are afraid. You constantly have to refer to books and manuals because you don’t have any real practical experience, so you must refer to another’s.  You are dependent solely upon the physical things you know.

Set of TASETT (from Maa Aankh 2)

Set – the Kamtic symbol for Fear

Universal love was symbolizes as Osar. The Kamitic sages understood that love is based upon knowledge. Knowledge is not a collection of books and texts. It is inner and outer knowing. When you act out of love you know what you are doing. You are driven to know out of passion. You are passionate about the subject you are interested in to the point that anyone can ask you anything about it, and you can answer. You know the subject inside and out because you not only believe it but you have lived it.

Osar from Maa Ankh 2

Osar the Kamitic symbol of Universal Love

This is the reason most people on the spiritual traditional path can give you a logical explanation for partaking in a particular ritual. The reason most of these people (and spiritual traditional practitioners all around the world) were called primitive in the first place, was because they could not explain their practices in a way that Westerners could understand it.  In other words, they couldn’t explain their complex and abstract ideas to Westerners using Western language. If these people were to use their own language, you will find that they had a scientific explanation behind everything that they did. We never hear about it because Westerners have convinced the world that logical thinking is a sign of intelligence and abstract thought is primitive.

Portuguese ship

Portuguese ship

This is how Westerners were able to convince all indigenous people that they were superior.  The story is the same all over the globe.  Every indigenous nation that Europeans encountered was amazed by their technological wonder and equated this (and everything Westerners possessed particularly their “perspective” religion because initially Judaism, Christianity and Islam are all derived from ancient African traditions) as a sign of greatness. We need to understand this because once you see that Westerners ability to create technological wonders has not improved relationships between men and women, cured diseases (since polio) or removed the threat of a nuclear war.  Then you will see the great Western illusion and realize that true power/greatness comes from within and stop giving your power to a system designed to oppress you. We have to realize that the only thing that is enslaved is our mind but by returning to our ancestral ways it can be liberated. Four hundred years can’t stop what has been going on for centuries.

chain-broken

This is why you can’t and you won’t find rich symbolism in Western religions because if functions out of fear and has a limited perspective.  This is the reason if you ask any of these religious zealots and fundamentalist why they must attend the synagogue, temple, church or mosque.  They are going to give the same answer which is to praise and worship God.  I hope you are beginning to see that all of these three major Western religions are based upon tragedy or the possibility of some imminent threat. Understand this is no different from worshiping a volcano and hoping it doesn’t erupt like Joe Versus the Volcano.

Maa Aankh Cosmology

Now, I know that there are benefits for engaging in the ritual practice of attending church or some other religious service but I am trying to get you to see the difference is in the focus and purpose. I am also trying to help you to understand why so many people are leaving these religions (or abandoning religion completely), while explaining that true salvation and liberation can be found in returning to our cultural spiritual traditions.

Understand, most religious beliefs are based upon an ideology, which means it is subject to change depending upon circumstances.  This is the reason there are so many religious denominations and so much politics in these religions. Not only that, these religious ideologies makes one totally dependent the religion, the state, and others because they learn that they can’t save themselves. Salvation must come from another. In other words, you are set up to be a slave or pawn in someone’s system.

amunt

Kamitic spirituality (and most spiritual traditions) on the other hand are based upon reality, which means they focus on achieving tangible results. Therefore, one learns how to be responsible and self-discipline.  Again, I must say that it is not as if individuals in spiritual traditions don’t have problems because we do. The difference is that we don’t just say and believe that God is omnipotent, all – knowing and omnipresent.  We believe that since we were made in the image of God and that God is omnipresent, omnipotent and omniscient that the essence of the Divine is within all of us, and on a minute scale we have the same divine attributes. Our problems stem from us not knowing how to use our divine powers. We pray, do rituals, etc. in order to use our divine powers appropriately, so that we can improve our life, and therefore know from experience God for ourselves.

Hope this helps.

Practicing the Maa Aankh (Kamitic Righteous Living)

20 09 2014

Hetepu (Peace) Family.

You know, since the conception and creation of the Maa Aankh, I have found this simple yet complex diagram to be remarkably beautiful and powerful in its ability to guide me to more profound truths. First, the Maa Aankh cosmogram is based upon the surviving Bantu-Kongo philosophies that were brought to North America via the slave trade and syncretized with Pentecostal Christianity, which has been combined with Kamitic (Ancient Egyptian) and traditional Kongo philosophy in order to restore one back to his or her glory.

You see, I learned contrary to popular belief, that early African Americans did not lose all of their cultural practices as initially thought. It appears this way only because a substantial amount of African American culture (language, beliefs, foods, etc.) has been absorbed by the greater and dominant American society.

Colonoware

Archaeological artifacts and historical documentation reveals that a substantial amount of African American culture survived the enslavement period primarily because of the Bantu-Kongo cosmogram known as the Dikenga, Yowa or Kongo Cross.

This is the reason generally speaking African Americans unconsciously continue to engage in similar cultural practice that have been found throughout the Afro-diaspora (especially in regards to honoring the dead), despite not having any knowledge of other African and African derived traditions.

This is because what I discovered was that early African Americans did not lose their culture. Instead what early African Americans loss was their cultural philosophy and theology, which is the indigenous, traditional or ancestral explanation that explains the purpose behind the cultural practice. To compensate for this loss and combat the cruelty of slavery, early African Americans adopted and borrowed concepts from Protestant Christianity.  Today however, the concepts of Christianity have outlived their purpose which explains why the number of churches and temples within in our steadily declining communities, is steadily rising, but none of the problems that exist are being solved. (Hence, “Everyone believes they are called to be a preacher or some other religious leader.” In truth they are just ego-tripping.) As a result, this has inspired many (myself included) to search for an unadulterated cultural philosophy.

Unfortunately, when I tried to research the traditional philosophy of the Bantu-Kongo, I discovered that because the Kongo- Angolan region was the first to encounter the Europeans.  They were also the most devastated by the Transaltantic Slave trade, imperialism and civil discord, which meant that most of the traditional Bantu-Kongo philosophies was lost (especially with the passing of the great Kongo scholar Dr. Kimbwandende Kia Bunseki Fu-Kiau).

Thankfully, the Kamitic (Ancient Egyptian) Amun Ra tradition had similar beliefs as the Bantu-Kongo.

WhoAmI?

So when I combined the Kamitic beliefs with the existing Kongo Cross information that survived in North America; through channeling it led to the creation of the Maa Aankh.

Maa Aankh with Utchat

The Maa Aankh like most sacred cosmograms or medicine wheels found around the world, can be interpreted a number of ways depending upon how you use it. The following are some of the most common interpretations:

From a personal perspective, since the Kamitic word “Maa” meaning balance, order, righteousness and truth, and “Aankh” means life or to swear an oath. The Maa Aankh can be translated as “To swear an oath to live truth” or “Righteous Living.” From a group or tribal perspective the Maa Aankh could be interpreted to mean the “Order of Life” or “Holistic Living.”

These different interpretations are all based upon the basic understanding of the Maa Aankh, which consists of land above and the land below symbolizing Earth surrounded by four discs.  These discs symbolize the four moments of the sun described in KiKongo as – Sunrise (Kala – Black), Midday (Tukula – Red), Sunset (Luvemba – White) and Midnight (Musoni – Yellow, when the sun is believed to be shinning on the other side). The four solar discs also symbolize man and woman’s soul and correspond exactly to the Kamitic Amun Ra divinities birth – Khepera (Creative Ra or Creative Power), life – Ra (Authoritative Ra or Overseeing Power), death – Ra Atum (Complete Ra or simply the Power of Revolution) and rebirth – Amun Ra (Hidden Ra or Hidden Power).

Thereby indicating that the Kamitic gods are not gods at all but are abstract concepts and attributes of God describing the evolution of one’s soul and consciousness.

From a metaphorical perspective the Maa Aankh provides deeper insight into the Kamitic Story of Osar when the land above is symbolized as TASETT – the Red Lands or Lower Kamit ruled by Set, and the land below is symbolized as KAMTA – the Black Lands or Upper Kamit ruled by Osar (Asar, Ausar, Osiris in Greek). According to legend Osar came into power when humanity was at its lowest, but he managed to uplift his people by teaching them Maa. All loved Osar but his youngest brother Set had grown increasingly jealous of Osar and eventually killed him.  Thanks to the loving devotion of Oset (Aset, Auset, Isis in Greek), Osar’s beloved wife, Hru (Hrw, Heru or Horus in Greek) the heir of Osar was born, who after surviving many attempts on his life as a child. Hru grew to adulthood but after being visited in his dream by his deceased father Osar who instructed him to avenge his wrongful death. Hru challenged his evil uncle for the throne. Finally after numerous battles and litigation, Hru finally defeated his uncle and united the kingdom.  This is why he rests in the center of the Maa Aankh, wearing both crowns, indicating that everything extends and everything returns.

Again metaphorically speaking, the Story of Osar can be interpreted a number of ways. Consequently, some see the story as a metaphorical retelling of historical events, while some others may interpret it as a prophecy.  In either case, because the Story is a great story, no interpretation is incorrect because each interpretation communicates a deeper truth about the fight between good and evil.

Hru Osar and Set

Hru Osar and Set

However, metaphysically speaking which means going beyond the physical.  When TASETT is used to symbolize our subconscious self or the division of our being that functions on autopilot in our daily visible life, while KAMTA (since black also refers to invisible) is is used to symbolize our superconscious self or the intuitive part of our being, and Hru is conscious self.  The Story of Osar due to the Maa Aankh takes on a more profound meaning. It indicates that since Osar is the ruler of KAMTA or our intuitive superconscious memories (ancestors, spirit guides, angels, spiritual energies, hidden forces, etc.) and Set is the ruler of TASETT or our habitual, personal subconscious memories (all the conditionings, habits and learnings we have acquired in this present life time, etc.).  In other words, it is the conscious use of our subconscious that leads to our divine awakening.

Osar as Lord of KAMTA (the Black Lands)

Osar as Lord of KAMTA (the Black Lands)

The Story of Osar therefore becomes an allegory about the constant daily fight we all must undergo between our higher, superconscious, divine self and our lower, subconscious, ego self. Meaning our salvation or spirituality is all about learning how to surrender control to our higher spirit, higher self or Osar, instead of being controlled by our lower spirit, lower self, ego or Set.

The Maa Aankh from this perspective is a visual reminder what all the great sages of humanity have told us since the time of immemorial, that the Kingdom of God is found within. In other words, peace, happiness, prosperity and power are all ethereal concepts, which mean they can’t be found externally. These attributes can only be found within by looking beyond the physical. In other words, the only one who can save you is yourself and as soon you realize this, is when you will be free.

Hope that helps.

Kamta: Kamitic Shamanism

11 03 2011

Kamit (Kemet, Ancient Egypt) has been a source of inspiration for people all over the world, but to many people of African descent, who lost their cultural heritage due to the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade. Kamit serves as a beacon of hope and a doorway, where all that has been lost through slavery can be found. The reason is because Kamit is the greatest, most memorable and the longest standing African civilization that was built. Thanks to the numerous contributions made by black and white scholars like Sir E.A. Wallis Budge, who went against his colleagues by stating in his book Osiris and the Egyptian Resurrection (1911),

“There is no doubt that the beliefs examined herein are of indigenous origin, Nilotic or Sundani in the broadest signification of the word, and I have endeavoured to explain those which cannot be elucidated in any other way, by the evidence which is afforded by the Religions of the modern peoples who live on the great rivers of East, West, and Central Africa . . . Now, if we examine the Religions of modern African peoples, we find that the beliefs underlying them are almost identical with those Ancient Egyptian ones described above. As they are not derived from the Egyptians, it follows that they are the natural product of the religious mind of the natives of certain parts of Africa, which is the same in all periods.”

Although it remains debated because no solid anthropological proof of has been found. Kamit is believed to be the ancestral homeland that many existing Sub-Saharan African cultures migrated from, to their present locations in Africa. This is based upon cultural correspondences that have been found between the Kamitic and other African cultures such as belief in One Supreme God, greater importance upon the Moon than Sun, transmigration of the soul, the importance of dreams, the significance of the color white and its association with the purity, the honorable ancestors and legendary deceased king Osar (Asar, Ausar, Osiris) known as Khenti-Amenti. What this means to many African descendants, is that those Africans that were enslaved and shipped to the Americas carried within them a cultural memory that unites them back to Kamit.

It is this cultural memory that survived mainly through the Kongo-Angolan lineage in North America, that was responsible for the development of the African American church. To this day, these post-Kamitic Kongo-Angolan cultural influences can still be seen amongst African Americans who wear white roses in honor of their ancestors. Who believe in the importance in dreams, recognize concepts like spiritual rebirth (especially through baptism), believe that when they die they will see their ancestors in the heavens, and although not a Christian concept, also believe that children are “old souls” or reincarnated ancestors.

It is these surviving cultural beliefs and practices, which I have syncretized with the Kamitic theology, African American folk beliefs and Afro-Caribbean Spiritism, that I call Kamta, which resides deep in our spirit.

It is through Kamta I discovered that we all have aakhu (ancestral spirits/spirit guides) that walk with us and never went away just because the dominant society suppressed the belief in them. Our aakhu encourage and inspire every aspect of our life, from the prosperity of our family, success in school, peace within our communities to our personal health and wellbeing.

We also have our share our aapepu (mischevious, malevolent, misguided spirits/ghosts) that create mischief in our life as well.  The aapepu, which means “snakes” or “worms” in the Kamitic language are like snakes that lay in our path. They cause us to become alarm when we see them because their negative influences encourages accidents, illness and chaos. This is why I see Set (the envious brother of Osar) as the Lord of the aapepu.

Fortunately, we also have netcharu (benevolent forces, angelic spirits or guardian spirits)  that walk with us and help us in our development. For instance, we all have an Npu (Enpu, Sobek, Sebek, Anubis) that acts as our personal guardian and guide. We all have an Osar, Oset and so on that is totally unique to us.

This cultural religious syncretism was made possible, because although the early African Americans brought to North America were not able to preserve all of our cultural traditions. They did manage to preserve enough precepts to provide their descendants with a road map on how to get back home culturally. Thanks to our ancestors we don’t have to adopt, borrow and imitate another’s culture. All we have to do is re-learn about our own.

Learn How to Surrender it to God

12 06 2010

Do you ever feel overwhelmed by the responsibilities of life? Does your schedule sometimes feel complicated and you feel like you can’t win?

One of the greatest tactics used by Set, is to make us feel like there is no time and that we have to do everything right now! If we don’t do things right now and in a hurry, all hell is going to break lose! This state of panic causes us to breathe rapidly (hyperventilate) thus putting our state of awareness – our Soul – in a stressful, alert and defensive state of mind, which is marked by the Ra moment of time.  All good and successful martial artists will tell you that this state of mind is where we make the most of our mistakes because we are reacting and not thinking. Our actions and behaviors are irrational like a wild man (hence Set) because we are just responding.

If we take a second, catch our breath and remember, TASETT – The Red Lands (the physical world) is a like a desert full of mirages and illusions. We can easily bring our Soul back into its natural, peaceful state of being – marked by the Amun Ra moment of time – by giving our worries to God and our spirits.

If you’re unsure as to how to do something, how to order your day or accomplish a particular goal, take time out and put your Soul in a receptive state. Take some deep breaths, relax and ask God and/or your Spirits to show you how to accomplish your goal, organize your day, whatever it is and wait for the response. This is what the hero Hru had to do in order to overcome Set. He had to ask his ancestor Osar to intercede on his behalf. What worked in principle a thousand years ago, still works today.

When you ask your question, don’t dwell it too long, don’t think or worry about it. If you find yourself worrying about the question or the solution, simply restate your question again with faith that a solution will be provided to you by God and delivered to you through the intercession of your spirits. Next, ignore all thoughts and ideas that come to mind not relating to your question. Keep your mind focused.  One of the best ways to do this is by engaging or participating in an activity that you enjoy, which causes you to relax like watching a movie, writing poetry, reading, listening to music, etc.

This signal to God and your spirits that you understand that they see more than what you can because you are restricted by the physical constraints of your body. Psychologically speaking, this allows the Spirit (subconscious/super conscious) to figure out the easiest and best way to provide you a solution. If you trust in God and believe that God is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent, a message, omen or sign will be delivered to you relating to your question or request through your dreams, a vision, a message from a friend or even a stranger. You never know how your prayer will be answered, but when it is answered you will all of a sudden feel remarkable and amazed.

God always answers our prayers we just have to learn how to stop talking and learn to listen or see the answer. We just need to learn how to surrender.
