Thank God For Kemetic Science! (T.G.F.K.S.)

15 07 2020

The other day I was telling someone how I grateful I am to have learned Kemetic Science, at least to how it relates to the human mind.  You see, when you don’t understand how the mind works. You can be fooled into believing anything because as powerful as our mind is, without proper education and guidance, it’s wholly feeble. Meaning, it will believe anything regardless of how ridiculous it is.

A South African Pastor who claims to heal people by farting on their faces, claims he farts the holy spirit.

Part of the reason spiritual development is so important is because everyone claims to have the Absolute Truth, but yet they do not understand the Truth about our Mind, which is that when our subconscious is not properly.  It will automatically listen to anyone (good or bad) who is in a position of authority.  When we are supposed to listen to first and foremost our Higher Self (Osar/Osiris).

A lot of you are too young to know about the pastor Jim Jones. I was just a kid when it happened and happened to see part of the movie, but he led a bunch of people off to a mass suicide. The saying, “don’t drink the kool-aid” is attributed to him because he spiked kool-aid with cyanide.

The point that I am trying to make is that you should always ask for some form of physical validation.  Never accept or believe that just because someone says God, the Spirit, the Ancestors, etc. said something that it is true. If someone says that something works, then look for proof in that individual’s life.  Never take an individual’s word for what they say. And, if you cannot get physical proof, first and foremost consult an oracle or see a competent diviner.

How Do You Meet God From a Kemetic Perspective?

Amun Ra v Aten

Hetepu (Peace & Blessings) Family.

If you read and study the Kemetic history, eventually you will come across the historical figure known in Kemetic history as Akhenaten, the heretic Kemetic king. Who is Akhenaten and why out of all of the Kemetic kings and queens, he is one of the most celebrated and talked about by western historians?

Well, Akhenaten was born Amenhetep IV, the younger son of Amenhotep III and Chief Queen Tiye.   Amenhetep IV’s older brother Thutmose was supposed to succeed his father but he died at a young age so, Amenhetep IV became the next ruler of Kemet in the 18th Dynasty when his father around 1336 BC.

Amenhetep IV is famous for a few reasons. First, he is the husband of the controversial queen Neferneferuaten better known as Nefertiti and second, the father of the boy king Tutankhaten. But, he is celebrated and paraded around by historians and theologians worldwide because he is recorded as being the first ruler to abandon his “polytheistic” religion and create a “monotheistic” religion known as the worship of Aten.  To publicly acknowledge his faith to Aten, Amenhetep IV changed his name to Akhenaten and made the Aten religion the state religion of Kemet.  After Akhenaten‘s 17 years of rule, the Kemetic priesthood restored the Amun Ra religion, and had Akhenaten‘s son, Tutankhaten succeeded him but signaling the return to the Amun Ra religion by changing his name to Tutankhamen.

Now, most archeologists, historians, and theologians will tell you that the reason the Kemetic people rejected Atenism and returned to the Amun Ra religion is that they were so accustomed to their polytheistic religion.  In fact, many scholars were so quick to ridicule the followers of Amun Ra in favor of Akhenaten‘s Aten religion that some scholars like the famed psychologist Sigmund Freud, have tried to link the Aten religion to the Abrahamic religion believing that Moses a former Atenist follower.

Interestingly, what most archeologists, historians, and theologians fail to mention is that during Akhenaten’s rule he destroyed temples that were dedicated to the Amun Ra religion.  Not only that, but Akhenaten was also the first ruler to profess his divinity by claiming that he was the Son of Aten and encouraging people to only worship him and Neferneferuaten Nefertiti. But, archeologists, historians, and theologians praise Akhenaten for some great achievement. To understand why the Kemetic priesthood quickly moved to get rid of Akhenaten and his Aten religion, we have to truly understand what is idol worshipping.

Akhenaten, Nefertiti, & Their Three Daughters.
Courtesy of https://www.ancient.eu/image/11106/akhenaten-nefertiti–their-three-daughters/

Idol worshipping is defined as worshipping graven images, but what is a graven image? A graven image is defined as any carved object or any object that is used to represent God.  The term “Aten” is a Kemetic word for the “Sun,” which means that technically speaking Akhenaten forced the people of Kemet to worship a false god; first the Sun, and later him and his wife.

This means that the Kemetic priesthood recognized that the Aten religion was idol worshipping and one of the reasons they moved to get rid of it was because it is an egotistical creation that promotes nepotism and religious violence. In all so-called monotheistic religions, there is always someone or some group that is “chosen.”  In the case of Atenism, it was Akhenaten and Neferneferuaten Nefertiti.  In Judaism, it is the Children of Israel.  In Christianity (depending on who you talk to) it is the Jewish people, the 144,000, the Catholics, the Baptists, or only the C.O.G.I.C., etc. In Islam, the “chosen” people are the ones who chose to obey god, which is generally interpreted to mean only Muslims.

What happens to the ones, the people or the group that is not “chosen”?  Persecution, slavery, accused of being “witches”, every other atrocity that has been perpetrated in the so-called name of god by monotheistic religions.

Amun Ra symbolizes the peaceful state that we are supposed to be in.

The advantage of the Amun Ra view of God was that it never had religious skepticism, cynicism or religious violence due to religious schisms like the ones that exist in Judaism, Christianity and Islam because the Amun Ra religion was based upon the belief that the Supreme Being is One who becomes many.  This means we are all “chosen” because the Divine exists within us all.

You see, in the Kemetic Story of Ra and Oset (Isis), Oset wanted to do the same things that Ra could do so and concluded that in order to be like Ra, she needed Ra’s real name.  So, she devised a plan where Ra would reveal his name by creating a poisonous serpent that would bite Ra when he passed by it.  As the Story goes, as planned Ra passed by the serpent and was bitten and tried to heal himself but was unable to do so. As a result, the dying Ra called everyone but no one knew how to heal him except Oset who appeared and told him that to heal him she needed his true name. Ra refused to share it with her but the agony was so great that he eventually conceded by passing his name to Oset in secret. (For a full version of the Story click here.)

The Story ends under the allusion that Ra never revealed to Oset his name.  However, the ending of the story is a metaphor referring to the metaphysical concept about Amun Ra, which means amun “the hidden” and ra “divine power.”  Thus indicating that the immortal power of God is within.

Oset (Isis) and Hru (Horus)

It should be noted that this was how the Kemetic sages explained why we must suffer, experience hardship and how we got a soul. This ancient Kemetic story which was written thousands of years ago was adopted, modified and expressed in the Kabbalistic as Ra the primordial Light and Oset as the primordial Vessel who receives the Light, which indicates many Kabbalistic writers were simply trying to distance themselves from their Kemetic background.

Therefore according to Kemetic belief, human beings got a soul because Oset no longer wanted to receive unearned benefits from Ra. In other words, she wanted to become a God, like Ra, which means we have to work for everything that we want because if we do not earn what we want. We will not appreciate it.

Hru (Horus)

This was birthed into Hru (Horus), which means that the Divine is closer to us than what we think. We don’t have to be indoctrinated or initiated so that we meet the Divine. We do not need intermediaries like preachers to meet the Divine.  We are all chosne because we are all the Children of Hru born with an immortal soul that gives us freedom of will.  This means the Divine is within all of us.  Understand, every time we struggle to do what is right versus what is easy is when we meet the Divine.  Every time we have a problem it is an opportunity for us to go within and use our Divine Power to change reality.  So the reason the Kemetic priesthood restored the Amun Ra religion was to remind the people we meet the Divine every time we connect with our Higher Self or Osar (Osiris). We become like the Divine whenever we identify with our Higher Self.

Why is Kemet so Important to Afro-American Spirituality?

1 03 2020

Hetepu (Peace & Blessings) Family.

So I am posting this post because I just got accused of being racist. And, as you know, if you are a person of African descent who gets accused of being racist, then you must be doing something right.

So, why was I accused of being racist? Well, it is because a couple of “Kemetic pagans” (as they call themselves) disagreed with what I wrote in my latest book, Honoring the Ancestors the Kemetic Shaman Way.  In my book, I wrote that one day I asked my ancestors why did they want me to study the Kemetic path.  They responded by telling me that it was so that I could know the Divine through my ancestors similar to how Hru (Horus) learned of his divinity through his father, Osar (Osiris). It is classic ancient African spirituality to go through your ancestors to find the Divine because, in the end, it is Divine Creator who is the Ancestor of us All.  It was at that moment, that I realized why Kemet was so important to people throughout the Afro-Diaspora.

I mentioned that it became painfully apparent that the reason archeologists engage in cherry-picking DNA research such as the reconstruction of Nefertiti, is because they only want evidence to support their white supremacist agenda, which is that westerners are superior and all non-westerners are inferior.

If archeologists really wanted to know what the ethnicity of the Kemetic people was why didn’t they conduct a DNA test on Tutankhamen’s grandmother Queen Tiye (shown above)? Instead, they focus solely on test subjects that will validate their claims, and when they can’t find evidences to support their ridiculous theories.

They opt out by claiming that everything was done by extraterrestrials (E.T.) because their culture did not achieve it.   For instance, claiming that Amenhotep IV or Akhenaten was an alien due to his elongated head instead of identifying that it may be a ritualistic practice such as head binding among the Mangbetu.

Now for the record, I was not surprised that archeologists reconstructed Nefertiti’s image and she appears to be caucasoid. This confirms my belief that she was a foreigner and that Akhenaten most likely married her to broker a peace treaty between the Kemetic and Mitanni kingdom.  Further evidence that she was a foreigner and had a huge influence on Akhenaten is proof that the Aten religion was a foreign concept, which almost resulted in Kemet being invaded by the Assyrians had not the Amun Ra priesthood stepped in and restored order (See Akhenaten is Not A Kemetic Hero).  The problem I have with these studies is that these so-called scholars try to paint a picture that Nefertiti was the epitome of beauty to the Kemetic people.

So, why do the western scholars dedicate so much effort to concealing the truth about the ethnicity of the Kemetic people, and why is it important? It is because by illustrating the Kemetic people as being European and portraying them as being everything but black and brown-skinned Africans. Westerners are able to deter people from discovering the true story about the Kemetic people, which is that many of them were forced to migrate throughout Sub-Sahara Africa due to war, the Arab sponsored slave trade, and later religious jihads.  Consequently, many of the Kemetic tribal nations settled in Central and West Africa where they were considered “newcomers” and they intermarried with the indigenous Africans in the region.

For instance, the oral history of the Yoruba people begins with the Nok people residing in present-day Nigeria forty thousand years ago and is visited by a peaceful African group from the east around 2000BC and 500BC.  Consequently, many of the Kemetic divinities survive in the Yoruba language as:

  • Osar or Ausa (Osiris, father of the gods) or Ausa (father)
  • Khepera or Khepara is the beetle Akpakara (beetle)
  • Ma’at the goddess of justice became Mate the goddess of justice
  • Oset or Auset is Iset or Ise (a water divinity)
  • Hru, Horus or Horise is Orise a Sky divinity

But the Yoruba are not the only nation who trace their ancestral roots back to Kemet.  According to the great African scholar and scientist Dr. Cheikh Anta Diop who wrote Civilization Or Barbarism: An Authentic Anthropology, the Ashanti (Ghana), Wolof (Senegal, Gambia, and Mauritania), the Mandinka (Senegal, Gambia, Guinea, Berkina Faso, Mali, CotedÕ Ivoir),  the Dinka (Sudan), Dogon (Mali), and Zulu (South Afrika) also claim Kemetic ancestry.  The late African scholar K.K. Bunseki Fu-Kiau has also stated that according to cultural similarities that the Bantu-Kongo people were influenced by the Kemetic people.  What is interesting is that with all of these claims being made, Western scholars have yet to do DNA testing on any of these people to verify or prove they are wrong. Why, not?

It is obvious that western scholars really don’t want to know the ethnicity of the Kemetic people because they really don’t want people to know.  That you are the Kemetic descendant. This is the reason our history in this country always begins with slavery and not the kingdoms and civilizations that our ancestors were abducted from.  It is the same reason why they demonize our spirituality because they know if we really embraced our ancestral practices. We would turn the world upside down.

Never forget we had a culture and history before America

So, the fact that someone is upset must mean that their path must not be working out, hence I must be doing something right.

Why is the Devil Winning? (Egregores)

This is not a post to say “I told you so” but in 2012 when the world was supposed to end.   I remember debating with an individual and telling them that the war against us is mental/spiritual and not physical.   There are no more physical slave plantations in operation with slave drivers and bounties hunters chasing down slaves in the United States.  So, why are so many of us suffering from post-traumatic slave syndrome even though slavery has been abolished for years and none of us were slaves?  In other words, why are so many of us living as if we were physically enslaved?  Answer. Blame it on the devil but not the devil most of us think of.

Spiritually speaking, the devil is our lower ego-subconscious self.  This means that most of our problems are ego-driven. What this means is that 99.9% of our problems are inspired by our subconscious-ego-self fears, anxieties, worries, guilts, excessive passions, etc., but what is driving our fears, anxieties, worries, guilt, excessive passion, etc.?

If you say the media’s coverage of racism, police brutality, sexism, and other isms, then you are correct, but what is encouraging and inspiring the media?

Answer. The metaphysical terms are thought-form pendulums, tulpas, or egregore which spiritual sages simply called spirits.   Wikipedia defines an egregore as “Egregore is an occult concept representing a “thoughtform” or “collective group mind”, an autonomous psychic entity made up of, and influencing, the thoughts of a group of people..”  The egregore causing us the most problems is the forces driving racism, which we can appropriately call the Spirit of Racism. The force driving sexism, chauvinism, feminism, etc. is a spirit.

The reason the devil is winning is that we are not looking behind the veil and understanding that everything that physically exists has an invisible spiritual counterpart. Consequently, we get to the game late because we are reactive, instead of being proactive. This is why when something big happens folks are ready to go boycott and march after the fact because they feel that they have been blindsided. It is also the reason why we feel as if we are fighting an impossible enemy and that nothing we physically try will work.

Set metaphorically is the Lord of Storms, Confusion, Chaos, and anything that causes disunity

Family. If you think of racism, sexism, chauvinism, feminism, dogmatism, sexual perversion, etc. are all being living spiritual entities. You will have a better grasp of understanding them and seeing how they influence people including yourself.  When you come to grips that these are spiritual entities and see their divisive attacks on us to prevent us from uniting based upon common history. Then, you will see their agents and realize that these people who have been mysteriously placed positioned in front of us to be our leaders do not represent us, our family, our community, or our people.  They serve another master and follow someone else’s agenda.

Funny thing. Google Black Leaders and these celebrities are the individuals who speak on our behalf. I don’t recall voting for these individuals to represent me. Do you?

Once you see all of this, this is when you will realize that the puppet master behind it all is Set (the Ego). Yes, there are clandestine groups that exist and are plotting away but their plans would always fail if we did not give in to our Set. Understand. If there was no high demand for drugs, drugs would not exist. Drugs only plague our society because there is a high demand for them.

Please note that all egregores, thought-forms, entities are not evil but these particular spirits are doing whatever they can to survive and receive energy from our actions and behaviors.  This means we need to change our tactics and start focusing on how to fight a spirit, which is meant for those who got it like that. Got it?

So, the next time you pick up a picket sign, decide to march, boycott or fight. Ask yourself, is this really what you want to do or are you compelled, encouraged and pressured to act and behave this way. To help guide you in the right direction, check out Why You Should Be Using An Oracle.

If African Spirituality Was So Powerful, Why Were They Enslaved and Conquered?

8 02 2020

Hetepu (Peace & Blessings) Family.

If you are new to African spirituality or an old head, you will eventually come face to face with this elephant that not many people would like to discuss and it is. “If African spirituality was so powerful, then why were the Africans enslaved and conquered?”

Moorish enslavers enslaved other Africans based on cultural and religious differences

Another question related to this is “Why was the African continent invaded and numerous countries conquered by less spiritually powerful invaders?”

Congolese men pose with the severed hands of others who failed to produce rubber for their Belgium enslavers

Well, I believe it was because of three reasons and I look forward to hearing your comments on if you agree or disagree. Before I give my reasons I let me say that I have been on this path off and on for a while. For the record, this does not give authority or more credence than others. I am simply putting it out there for those who need to know that I have been around the spiritual block several times.

So, if African spirituality was so powerful, why were they enslaved and conquered? Well, as I mentioned, I have three reasons why.

First, I don’t think that African spirituality was that powerful and for that matter. I don’t think there is one spiritual system that is all-powerful. One of the greatest myths that many people have when they start dabbling and getting into spiritual culture is that they believe. That when they become spiritual they will be all-powerful. They will be able to walk on water. Float above the ground while meditating. Talk to clouds and make it rain for a specific period because “we are gods and goddesses.”

This myth is so powerful that it makes us look at spiritual traditions as if they are storefronts at a mall. So we choose to follow one spiritual tradition because it promises to make us wealthy, or we leave one tradition because they did not fulfill their promise based upon what we believed to make us healthy, powerful, or whatever instant gratification goal we desire.

The facts are that all spiritual systems are essentially the same. If you don’t see this it probably because you are still suffering from the religious dogma that programmed you to believe that only Baptists are going to heaven, or Jehovah witnesses are right, etc. So, let me say it again, all spiritual traditions are essentially the same. The major difference between all spiritual traditions is the culture and language that hosts the tradition.

BINZHOU, CHINA – DECEMBER 23: (CHINA OUT) Pupils cover their noses in Binzhou, China. (Photo by ChinaFotoPress/ChinaFotoPress via Getty Images)

No spiritual tradition is perfect, which is why historically you can find flaws in every cultural society that hosted them. For instance, with all of the wisdom that has flowed out of China due to Taoism and Kung Fu Tze (Confucius) you would think China would be a spiritually enlightened mecca but China oppresses her citizens, women are very suppressed, the labor laws are horrific and their environment is a cesspool. So much for an enlightened China or not? So, the first reason the Africans were enslaved and conquered despite having a powerful spiritual system is that people have to implement it.

This brings me to the second point but forces me to ask this question before giving my response. The question is with all of this great and powerful wisdom that has come out of China in the past 30 to 50 years, why does China have the problems she has? The answer is because people still have free will to do whatever they want. As a matter of fact, when China was undergoing its cultural revolution and being influenced by Westerners. Most of China’s wisdom and spiritual traditions were seen as superstitious nonsense. In fact, most of the Chinese spiritual practices and traditions that we appreciate in the West such as feng shui, qi gong, I Ching, etc. are considered folk practices in China. Need proof? Watch the Ip Man series on Netflix, which reveals that one of the reasons he became a legend is because he was trying to preserve the Chinese culture amid Western influence (Regardless of how factual the story is it is a familiar theme). Now, does that sound familiar? Understand, that the only reason most of these practices are tolerated is that so many people practice it. By the way, Cuba went through a similar transition but now the African religions that have survived are celebrated as a part of Cuban culture. Again, people who do not understand this will try to create a schism between the two.

Now, I say all of this to say that this is what Africa suffered from when the Arabs and Europeans were welcomed to their lands. It is a classic case of being enamored by another culture to the point that you view your own culture as inferior. When the Portuguese arrived on the shores of the Kongo Kingdom, the Kongo rulers experienced a technology gap where they were so fascinated by the Europeans arsenal and culture that they willingly converted to Christianity.

Let me say it again because there’s this myth that all Africans were forced into slavery. Many of the Kongo people willingly converted to Christianity because it was not the same trick bag that was used over in the States to justify slavery. So, reason number 2 as to why the Africans were enslaved if their spiritual systems are so powerful is that they started seeing other peoples’ spiritual systems as superior and their own as inferior.

Lastly, the final reason they were enslaved and conquered is that they had become too spiritual. When an individual is too spiritual they are no worldly good because they are focused on idealism and they ignore the physical reality or commonsense. This is because you are always looking at the best of an individual. For instance, the Divine exists in everyone and everything including rattlesnakes but would you pick up a rattlesnake without training? Would you let a stranger off the street sleep in your home? If you are too spiritual you would and you are opening yourself up for a great spiritual lesson but, if you got commonsense you better not. This is where people get ideas about Maa wrong and Maat says that if you have the means share. That means if someone asks for $10 and you can share it without missing it, by all means, share it. If it comes back great and it proves that the individual you shared it with is trustworthy but if not you will not miss it, no loss. This whole idea of giving your last dime because God is going to bless you is a warped western religious belief.

Being too spiritual is a sin like being materialistic. If you have read the Story of Osar, the reason Osar was murdered by his youngest brother is that he was too spiritual. For those interested in Kemetic history, the reason Ankhenaten disappeared is that he was too spiritual and it almost resulted in Kemet being conquered by the Assyrians had the Amun Ra priesthood not stepped in. We must remember that to the Kemetic people righteousness is being Maa, hence balance, orderly, truthful which is symbolized as Hru wearing the double crown.

Osar (Osiris) symbolizes the white crown of KAMTA (Spiritual Realm). Set represents the red crown in TASETT (Physical Realm). Therefore, Hru wearing the white and red crown symbolizes a balance between the spiritual and physical realities.

A fact that a lot of people do not want to accept is that the reason African religions were not able to survive in North America was that they were too spiritual and not aggressive enough. This is the reason the Ifa religion had to evolve and become Lucumi in Cuba, Umbanda in Brazil, and why the Kongo tradition had to become Palo in Cuba and Qibanda in Brazil, and so on. All of which became Conjure and Rootwork in North America.

So, the final reason they were enslaved and conquered is that they had become too spiritual, which convinced them to see their enemies as friends.

Now, these are all very important points that we need to be aware of because there are many among us now trying to convince us that the power, wealth, etc. that we need comes from an herb, stone, crystal, bone, or some other outside source. These individuals have simply change the names and superimposed their western religious beliefs on to African-style names.

The Divine power is within us. It is not in the tradition. It is not in the artifacts or relics, which are all tools used to convince you of your divinity.

Note that it is not about religion.  I have met some very powerful and spiritual Christians and Muslims because they understood that their religion was the path they had to take to join with their godhead. Whereas I have met people who state they are spiritual who have simply superimposed their old religious beliefs onto spiritual practices.

We have to understand that these are all paths.  If a particular path doesn’t work for you, then there is always self-initiation but don’t delude yourself. All the paths are about becoming one with the god/goddess within you. If you remember this you will not be hoodwinked like our ancestors were in the past.

The True Purpose of Kemetic Spirituality

8 02 2020

Hetepu (Peace & Blessings) Family.

It has come to my attention that we have all been duped into believing that Egyptian spiritual system better known as Kemetic Spirituality is about memorizing the 42 Declarations of Maat, performing rituals as the Kemetic people had done, working with gems and stones, practicing yoga/tai chi/ki gong, observing the zodiac and everything else that we have been told that the Kemetic people or spiritual people should do.

What is Kemetic Spirituality?

Kemetic farmers courtesy of Wikipedia.org

No. The Egyptian mystery systems, Egyptian spirituality, or Kemetic Spirituality is all about overcoming our ego, which is the reason the Kemetic people did not leave texts on how relationships, money, etc.  Everything was focused on overcoming the ego including their agriculture.

The reason most of us missed this very important point is that we have relied upon other’s interpretations of our ancestral’ ways. But, these individuals and/or groups interpreting our ancestral ways do not come from a spiritual culture so they really have no business interpreting it because they are spiritually ignorant themselves. Consequently, these individuals and groups have perverted the original purpose of these teachings and in a classic imperialistic mindset, they proclaim that only their interpretation is authentic, orthodox and everyone else’s is not.  When it is nothing more than a version based upon some bias Western scholar’s perspective.  This same attitude is the reason similar people interpreted the Christian bible literally, but when it is understood from a spiritual perspective. We see that it is nothing more than an instruction manual dealing with the ego. This is the purpose of the Ten Commandments and various references about “the kingdom of God being within.”

So let me be the one to set the record straight. All of the spiritual sciences and practices that have been discovered were all created to help us to do one thing.  Their role is to help us to overcome our ego. Yes, they may have some extraordinary physical benefits but don’t get tricked into believing that this is their primary purpose. For instance, meditation, yoga, tai chi, and Ki gong are all great spiritual practices that have documented benefits of the physical body but this is not why these practices were created. They were created to help you to gain mastery over your ego, as well as every other spiritual practice including the use of magick.

Why were all of these practices created to help us to overcome our ego, you ask?

It is because our ego or subconscious was created to help us to physically survive. One of the ways the subconscious works to help us to survive is by categorizing all of our experiences as either pleasant/pleasure or unpleasant/pain. It is a real rudimentary system that established all of our fears, anxieties, and worries so that we can physically survive. For instance, if something is too hot we feel pain so we remove our hand from a hot stove to feel pleasure. As a result, we normally categorize everything from this pleasure/pain perspective as either being good or bad/evil based upon how we feel.

The problem with this simple classification system is that it is flawed because everything that is good for us does not necessarily make us feel good, just like everything that is bad for us does not make us feel bad.

Proof of this flawed classification system is the consumption of drugs and illicit drugs. They might make us feel good for a short while but in the long run, they are not good for our bodies. There are other things that we can find from food to lifestyle choices that fit in this same category of making us feel good but not being good for us.

This is why it is said that we live in a world of illusions because we are chasing after things that we believe will give us pleasure or be good for us, but they will only provide us with a temporary high. And, in this instant gratification society that we live in, situations have become increasingly worse because people are unaware that the source of all of their problems stems from their subconscious ego-self, which is why the Kemetic sages called the ego, Set.

For instance, here are some of the lies that our Set tells us:

  1. I don’t need a man/woman. I can do it by myself.
  2. I don’t eat pork, drink alcohol, etc. because I am “woke” and people who do these things are not.
  3. When I have enough money, I will be happy.

Basically, any time you hear a little voice whispering in your ear things to protect you based upon your past experiences, suggestions to play it safe, suggestions that will not rattle the chain, anything that makes you feel as if you are better than others and feel content. You are listening to Set who is gassing you up for a great fall. In other words, any suggestions that make you feel fearful, anxious, selfish, worrisome, etc. based upon your past experience, is Set.

Set prevents us from seeing the whole picture by making us a prisoner of our own beliefs and past experiences. When we step out of our comfort zone and ignore the erroneous beliefs and our past experiences, then we can overcome Set.

So that we are clear, Set is the egotistical part of our being or our subconscious, hence lower self. Set is not some evil entity running around with the pitchfork like some devious imp. No. Set is the lower you and when you hear all of these heinous acts and crimes occurring all over the community, city, state, nation, and world. It is because these individuals have given into their Set, which has promised them that they will feel good about themselves if they engage in the erroneous belief or past act. These are people giving into their lower, animalistic, reptilian, and beastie self.

Understand. We all have a lowly nature but we can choose to listen to it or not, which is what makes us human beings. The voice that tells us to do the opposite of what we feel and to do what is right instead of what is easy, is our Superconscious or Osar (Osiris).

We must get into the habit of using meditation, meditative practices, prayer, magick, etc. as tools to limit the influence of our lower ego-self or Set, and invite our Higher Self or Osar (Osiris) into our life. For instance, if you choose to do a ritual to improve any aspect of your life. Note that it is based upon the understanding that you personally have limited experience in dealing with the matter. Therefore, you are handing it over to your Higher Self or Osar because you trust that it is more powerful, wiser, and is unlimited.

Can You Be Spiritual and Still Have Enemies? (Pt.2 How to Attack/Defend the Kemetic Shaman Way)

17 01 2020

Hetepu (Peace & Blessings) Family.

If you have not read Part 1 of this discussion, please do so that you can put things in perspective.

As I mentioned in Part 1, a lot of my mind control in regards to dealing with enemies comes from watching the television series Kung Fu, but to be fair. The mind programming did not just come from this series. I was brainwashed by the Church not to defend myself and to let God deal with those who oppose us (enemies).  My parents reaffirmed what the Church taught me, which was also communicated to me in history class whenever I was taught about Dr. Martin L. King, Jr.

Now, there’s a lot of new information coming out about King that people did not know. For instance, there are reports that King stated to his friend, actor, singer and activist Harry Belafonte”

“According to Belafonte, King responded, “I’ve come upon something that disturbs me deeply. We have fought hard and long for integration, as I believe we should have, and I know we will win, but I have come to believe that we are integrating into a burning house. I’m afraid that America has lost the moral vision she may have had, and I’m afraid that even as we integrate, we are walking into a place that does not understand that this nation needs to be deeply concerned with the plight of the poor and disenfranchised. Until we commit ourselves to ensure that the underclass is given justice and opportunity, we will continue to perpetuate the anger and violence that tears the soul of this nation. I fear I am integrating my people into a burning house.”

The reason for noting this is because almost 52 years later, it is easy to criticize the lack of foresight that individuals had in the past.  We have all talked about and heard discussions on the pros and cons of the Civil Rights Movement. However, what I have failed to hear a lot of discussion on is where King’s error in thinking came from.  Remember, King was inspired by Gandhi.

By Ashwin Desai and Goolem Vahed. Courtesy of: https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-india-34265882

Did you know that Gandhi supported racial segregation and stated that the “Indians are a little better if at all than savages or the Natives of Africa.” In The South African Gandhi: Stretcher-Bearer of Empire by Ashwin Desai and Goolem Vahed, we find that Gandhi believed in the Aryan brotherhood and believed that Whites and Indians were superior to the Black Africans. We also find that he supported racist policies such as overtaxing the impoverished Africans of South Africa and turning a blind eye to the European brutality of the Africans whin the country, to support his belief that Indians were better.

Of course, I am pretty sure King did not know about Gandhi and his beliefs at the time. He was simply inspired by Gandhi’s nonviolent approach against imperialism because he saw Black people in the United States as being militarily powerless like the Indian people that Gandhi fought for. What King did not know is that the Indians’ nonviolent protest was also a tax resistance against the monopoly the British had on salt  (see the Salt March).

The point that I am making is that King did not know how to deal with enemies because he was looking for a solution outside of himself.

What we have to understand is that our situation is unique. There is no other group of people in the world that has undergone our experience, which means we are the only ones who can create a solution because of understanding the problem. So, how do you defend and protect yourself from enemies?

Well, our universe according to the Maa Aankh is composed of two realities: a spiritual (KAMTA) and physical (TASETT) realm separated by the watery Nyun and is connected by Maa, which mirrors what exists “Above, so below.” This means that our physical reality is a reflection of what is going on within our being and vice versa. Therefore, if your life is chaotic, then your soul is in turmoil. If your life is pleasant and happy, then your soul is pleasant and happy within. This is known as the Law of Correspondence, which basically means “likes attract likes.”

To defend and protect yourself the Kamta way, I would recommend you make a home for your warrior netchar Hru Aakhuti.  To do this simply purchase a cast-iron cauldron in Hru Aakhuti’s honor. If you cannot get a cast-iron cauldron then clay pottery or a woven straw mat will suffice because Hru Aakhuti is a wild guardian warrior.  He is about defense and protection. So, you need to purchase items that he can use to defend and protect you like a machete, knife or knives. You can place any item that you want inside the pot that symbolizes defense and protection including herbs, crystals, weapons, toy weapons, toy soldiers, protection oil, protection incense, etc. because of the Law of Correspondence. Whatever you do, I recommend that you also place 11 small plaster or ceramic skulls to symbolize unknown warrior spirits who are willing to work under Hru Aakhuti’s banner.

When you build or create a home for your netchar Hru Aakhuti and you create an electro-magnetic field specifically for defense and protection. The more you see your altar, which is giving it attention. The stronger your altar becomes or the more charged it will be. In fact, after a 28-day lunar cycle, the altar will be charged, which means any item placed on the altar and carried with you will be charged with the defensive and protective energy of Hru Aakhuti. For instance, you can take a small pocket knife and ask Hru Aakhuti to bless it so that it defends and protects you like a charm. Then, leave the pocket knife with him for 24 hr. The next morning you can carry it in your pocket. In exchange offer Hru Aakhuti an offering such as a red or purple candle, money, spicy foods, cigars, spirits (rum, vodka, gin, etc.), and so on. You can also add protection baths, oils and perfumes on the altar to change your aura.

If your enemy is harassing you and getting on your nerves. Take an item of theirs and place it on the altar, then ask Hru Aakhuti to protect you by removing the individual away from you. You do not need to worry about the details. Simply know and trust that Hru Aakhuti will deal with them appropriately.

Can You Be Spiritual and Still Have Enemies? (Pt. 1)

17 01 2020

Hetepu (Peace & Blessings) Family.

It will be MLK Day here soon and just in time because the other day my best friend sent me a djvlad video of an interview with Michael Jai White.  I have been a longtime fan of White’s martial arts movie since the 1990s and I am glad he continues to do films. Anyway, in one of the videos, he shatters the myths about Shaolin monks, ninjas and how most of the celebrities we see in the film doing martial arts are really actors and not combat martial artists the way the films portray them. It was a really good interview but the one subject that came up about Shaolin monks is how people were coaxed into believing Shaolin monks still existed because of the television series Kung Fu.

Kung Fu television series starring David Carradine

Now, for those of you who have read other posts that I have done, you know that I talk about this television series a lot because it portrayals “spiritual people” as these meek individuals walking around barefoot living an ascetic lifestyle.  It is really too bad that this TV series, which was originally pitched by and supposed to cast the legendary Bruce Lee in the lead role, ended up with David Carradine because Lee was considered to be too Asian.

The television series Kung Fu starring David Carradine.

It might have got some real Eastern philosophy inputted into the series, but instead those of us who grew up watching this series got a lot of fake imagery on what it meant to be a martial artist and fake imagery on what it means to be “spiritual.”

Consequently, I heard an individual the other day say on dealing with enemies, “When you’re really spiritual. Enemies, do not exist.”

Are you FRIGGIN kidding me? Then, the whole Story of Osar with Hru battling Set was about what? Your friends? I hate when people get spiritual concepts mixed up and have no commonsense.

Yes. Technically we do not have any enemies because we are all gods and goddesses, but if an individual does not recognize their divinity and they oppose you. They are your enemy.

Family. Being “spiritual” does not mean being “naïve” or “stupid.” I have said it before and I may be the only one who has said it because I approach Kemetic spirituality from a shamanic perspective, but Osar symbolizes an individual who is “too spiritual.” This is why he was murdered by his younger brother Set.

It does not matter how “spiritual” you are, you will always have “haters.”

The character Morpheus in the 1999 film The Matrix says it best when he told Neo about the agents. He states:

“You have to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so  inert, so hopelessly dependent on the system, that they will fight to protect it.”

When Neo looks at the woman in the red dress who turns into an agent. Morpheus tells Neo when he asks if it was the Matrix:

“No. It’s another program, designed to teach you one thing: If you are not one of us, you are one of them. “

Morpheus continues by saying that agents are sentient programs that can move in and out of software while still being hard-wired to the system.  In other words, agents are our enemies which are people who act solely based upon their feelings because they have no spiritual culture.

Understand. This does not make us better than them or vice versa. It simply means that you being a “spiritually” minded individual recognizes that the Divine is within you and everything, including your enemy.  The Divine is within a poisonous snake but you would be a fool to put yourself in danger by appealing to the snake’s higher self.

Commonsense is what a lot of us (myself included) lost from watching fake spiritual shows like Kung Fu. We must remember that we are spiritual beings having a physical experience, so we must protect ourselves and defend ourselves if necessary.

Again, technically we do not have any enemies because we are all gods and goddesses, but if an individual does not recognize their divinity and they oppose you. They are your enemy.

How to Celebrate the Birth of HRU (Winter Solstice)

16 12 2019

Dear Hru (Heru, Horus)

Oh how Set (Set-an, the Ego) has perverted your holy-day by convincing the sleepers that a hero was born to save them and shower them with wondrous gifts.  However, don’t fret because the Age of Information is among us, and Oset (Aset, Auset, Isis) and Nebhet (Nephthys) are steady erecting shrines to remind people of Osar (Asar, Ausar, Osiris), Our true Father who art in Heaven (Superconscious).  People are celebrating in every way they can to welcome you Hru such as making chakra trees and so on.

Today Hru, I decided to make a tree of life tree to welcome you. I decorated a little tree with lights to symbolize the benevolent spirits surrounding my family. I got nine ornamental globes and a star to represent the nine spheres on the tree of life or the nine Netcharu (guardian spirits) who are focused on our success. I also purchased a red and gold garland to represent our grandfather Rau (Kundalini) and hung it from the top of the star to the bottom of the tree.  Then, I made sure to place a brown cloth as a tree skirt to symbolize what I want to manifest physically into my life for the coming new year.

Oh Hru! Syncretism has never felt so good! So, this year I will start a new tradition by telling my child you Story of how you taught us how to reclaim our throne.

Thank you Hru for helping me to save me.  Anetch Hrak Hru (Salutations Hru)!

Happy Winter SoL-Stice

What Does “Raise Your Vibration/Energy/Conscious” Mean?

9 12 2019

Hetepu (Peace & Blessings)

If you are new to spiritual development/magick you will often hear people say “You have to raise your vibration” or “You need to vibe at a higher frequency.”  Often times, a lot of people (especially seasoned practitioners) who use this term expects everyone to know what this term means but this lingo typically loses a lot of people. So let me explain what this means.

First it must be understood that there are numerous spiritual/magickal systems that exist, which theorize how to spiritually grow and magickally evolve. The two most popular systems are the Tree of Life, which is based upon the belief that metaphysically we all have 12 spheres called sephiroth that correspond to different levels of consciousness.  The second most popular system is the energy system, which is based upon the belief that we all have seven psychic energy centers called chakras.  Now, I have to state a disclaimer so that this is not interpreted literally.  Disclaimer: Please understand that these are the two most popular systems that theorizes how to spiritually.  They are not the only truth.

Taoism & Huna

There are numerous other spiritual systems that exist because as long as man and woman have walked the earth.

Druid Rune System & Ifa Spiritual System

and http://www.runedruid.com/ https://www.pinterest.com/Fasotito/fasotito-memes/

They have pondered the mysteries of the Universe and the human spirit.  So there are numerous systems that exist such as the Druid system, the Yoruba Ifa system, the Huna system, Taoism, Kamta, etc.  This means whichever system you decide to follow, any of these systems will work.  Simply choose the one system that best fits your needs.

Returning to our subject matter at hand, both the sephiroth and the chakra system, along with all of the other spiritual systems correspond with each other because they are based upon universal truths regarding the nature of the human spirit. In other words, all spiritual systems focus on spiritual development through raising one’s consciousness/energy.  This is the reason it does not matter which system you choose, you cannot go wrong.

Therefore, when you hear people say “You have to raise your vibration” or “You need to vibe at a higher frequency.”  Typically they are speaking from a chakra perspective but the reference corresponds and overlaps with other systems, which is the reason most do not explain themselves when saying it.

So what does it mean to raise your vibration/consciousness?

First everyone has their own way of explaining this concept so I am going to explain it from a Kemetic shaman perspective.  To comprehend this you need to understand that there is no such thing as good and bad, or good and evil. There is only Energy, which has a positive and negative charge. In the Kemetic tradition this energy is called Ra, Re or Rau (incorrectly called the sun god, Chi or Ki in Taoism, Prana/Kundalini in the chakra system, etc.).  The two charges are called in the Kemetic tradition Shu (the Taosim Yang) and Tefnut (The Taoism Yin), the so-called god and goddess of air and fire, and moisture.

Shu the Kemetic Yang (left), Ra the Kemetic Chi/Ki (center), Tefnut the Kemetic Yin (right), standing on Maa

If this energy is too Shu (Yang), then it is too hot and dry and burns like an uncontrollable fire.  In this case the energy is not conducive for most life such as life in a desert, hence the northernmost part of Kemet called TaSett (the Red Lands), which was mythologically ruled by Set (the lower self).

If this energy is too Tefnut (Yin), then it is too cold and wet, and floods like an uncontrollable water, thus making it difficult for living conditions as well. This is symbolized as the southernmost part of Kemet which flooded annually called KamTa the Black Lands. This region was symbolized by the white Hedjet crown worn by Osar who was murdered by his younger brother Set due to his naivete.

However, when there is a relatively perfect balance between the Shu (Yang) and the Tefnut (Yin), the burning fire is able to clear enough water to make way for land (earth) and produce life (seeds, etc.). This balance is called Maa, which is personified as the goddess Maat but illustrated as Hru (Heru, Horus) who wears the double white (crown of Osar) and red (crown of Set) together as the Pschent crown.

Hopefully you get the picture that because there is only Energy. Everything that exist in composed of this Energy or the Rau force with two polar opposites (Shu/Yang and Tefnut/Yin) fluctuating to obtain Maa.

Now, it is important to understand that this One Energy exists in everything and manifests itself in everything in different ways but everything also has these same polar opposites that exist within it. For instance, every species on the planet has a Shu (masculine aspect) and a Tefnut (feminine aspect). Even within the species, everything has a Shu and Tefnut, which are all different manifestations of the same Energy.

When this Energy manifests itself In human beings.  If the Energy is too Shu/Yang then human beings are egotistic, selfish, pessimistic, heavy, angry, depressed, fearful, anxious, worrisome, hateful, envious, excessively stressed, etc.  However, if the Energy within human beings is too Tefnut/Yin, then human beings are dreamy because are out of touch with physical reality.  These individuals are so withdrawn from the physical realm that they live their life believing that all they need to do is mediate and/or do rituals. For instance, these are the people who will recognize that they need money and meditate or do a ritual for a job but will not fill out an application or go and look for a job. A lot of people who claim to be spiritual suffer from being too Tefnut, which is the reason most “spiritual people” are financially broke. If our Kemetic ancestors saw us living this way and claiming to be “spiritual” they would correct us and remind us that Kemet was a prosperous nation and that the people lived a prosperous life.

This is because ideally being spiritual means being in balance or Maa. Although Maa is personified as the goddess Maat (Ma’at), the symbolic representation of Maa is Hru (Heru, Horus) after he has overcome his trial and tribulations and ascended to the throne where he wears the double white and red Pschent crown, which is the symbol for Maa and a unified country/spirit.

Therefore, from a Kemetic perspective unless an individual has chosen to live their life as a renunciate (monk, nun, etc.) whereas their physical needs are provided by others.  Being ”spiritual” means living in balance or Maa where you engage in both realities like Hru who stands in the middle of both lands.

From this perspective, raising your vibration/consciousness means to put yourself in a state of alignment, balance or Maa.

How Do You Raise Your Vibration/Energy or Put Yourself in Alignment?

Keeping in mind that everything in our universe is composed of Energy. This means we are all connected to one another and everything by this same Universal Energy. Therefore, everything that exists is composed of energy which vibrates at a specific frequency. By the way, the terms “vibrate” and “vibration” are just a fancy ways of saying your overall being.

Since everything in our universe is composed of energy and therefore vibrates at a particular frequency. When you are being spiritual because you are in a state of alignment or Maa, then you are full of optimism, luck, etc. because everything flows to you because you are vibrating at a frequency that attracts to you whatever you want.

For instance, if you are looking for a mate but you are hanging around family and friends who are constantly bashing the other sex stating that “wo/men ain’t no good!”  Then you will have a hard time finding a mate because you are not in alignment with others who want to find a mate, hence you are out of balance. Therefore, you must change your overall being or vibration by changing the way you feel, think and/or act to get a mate.

There are several ways to change your vibration/energy or align your consciousness with what you want and they are:

  1. Change your thoughts by checking your beliefs and chanting mantras (if possible). Mantras can be a short prayer, sacred words, or a phrase repeated numerous times to generate energy and propel you to a specific goal. If you create your own mantras, be sure they are in the affirmative as if it has already occurred. For instance, I used to be very sarcastic and did not like speaking to people in the morning because I like quietness in the morning. So, when people asked how I was doing. I would quickly respond, “Another Monday” implying that another busy and stressful day like the first day of the week, so my Spirits/Universe made sure that every day was like Monday. To change my thought and how my day would unfold, I started replying “Peaceful and Abundant.” Of course, this generated conversation but it gave me a different vibration and made my day unfold in a very uplifting manner.
  2. Express Gratitude for Things You Appreciate in Your Life. One of the little rituals I like to do is go to sleep saying what I am grateful for. When I awake I am typically upbeat and ready to take on the day. Another little ritual is that when I repeat a mantra for something I want, I express gratitude rather it manifests or not. Another trick that is good for manifesting more money is to smile every time you spend money. Be grateful that you have money to buy food, pay bills, etc.
  3. Consume More Alkaline Foods. This means eating more foods such as nuts, seeds, vegetables, herbs, etc. and drink more water. Be mindful of the seasons and the environment you are in.  Also, remember too much fruit is just as bad as not enough.
  4. Do More Cardiovascular Activities. If you are like me and do not care for aerobics exercises like jogging and running. Try other cardiovascular activities like dancing. Whatever you do, it should be fun and enjoyable.
  5. Practice Maa by Giving to Others who are in need expecting Nothing in Return.
